Hailing from Northern California, Austin Wondolowski brings a fresh eye to his viewer by seeing the possibility of the otherwise ignored or mundane. Looking at Austin’s work, you can’t help but notice the few pieces that fail to observe the “rules” of photography and urge you ever so softly to look outside the lines of traditional beauty.
Consider a drop of oil on wet pavement turning into a thousand rainbows, or a “No Parking” sign that’s covered in old chewing gum becoming mountains of color, and finally a piece of metal that’s given in to rust transforming into the most exquisite abstract composition.
Austin is an artist with flair and a fun style. Whether he’s shooting a wedding or landscapes, he captures a moment or two in time that you wouldn’t have otherwise noticed, but could have.
